Our original long range benchrest stock aimed to achieve 5 rounds in the X-Ring with 1/4 MOA groups or less. This stock is 34.25" long with a 2" x 2.125" main core for strength and rigidity. Weighing in at approximately 3.5 to 4.5 lbs (excluding some exotic hardwoods) allows it to make light gun finished weight (<17 lbs). If wood selection permits, it can also be a great heavy option. The same 5X long range benchrest stock with a lower center of gravity. This stock is 37" long (2.75" longer) with a 2" x 2.125" main core that tapers to 1.75". This change lowers the center of gravity 0.5". Weighing in at approximately 3.5 to 4.5 lbs (excluding some exotic hardwoods) allows it to make light gun finished weight (<17 lbs). Our same stock feel outfitted with details that F-Class shooters expect when striving for 20 rounds in the X-Ring. This stocks is 37" long with a 2" x 2.125 main core for rigidity. It features our lower center of gravity seen with the 5XLR. It also features a raised barrel channel side with vents for heat evacuation. Lastly, to meet the requirements of F-Class it will be limited to a 2.999" front bag rider with a 0.75" rear bag rider. The weight of this stock will vary with wood selection, however, meeting the <22 lb requirement will not be an issue. See our order for possible options.
